The website operator takes the protection of your data seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory provisions, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).
As new technologies and the ongoing development of this website and its applications may require changes to this Privacy Policy, we recommend reviewing it regularly.
Definitions of the terms used (such as “personal data” and “processing”) can be found in Article 4 GDPR.
Access Data (Server Log Files)
On the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), we collect data concerning access to the website and store it in server log files.
The following are logged: page views (sessions), accesses (files), article URLs, referrer URLs, browsers, access sources and IP addresses.
Server log files are stored for no more than seven days and then deleted. Storage is necessary for security reasons, for example to investigate misuse. Where data must be retained as evidence, it is exempt from deletion until the incident has been conclusively resolved.
JUMBO BLOCK Vault and Similar Client-Side Applications. This website provides client-side applications, in particular JUMBO BLOCK Vault. The following additional provisions apply:
Your Vault contents (including saved login credentials, notes and attachments) are processed exclusively locally in your browser or on your device. To our knowledge, these contents are never transmitted to servers operated by ZANNI GROUP or third parties. No registration or login with us is required, and no personal data is transmitted in the course of using the application itself. The initial loading of application files (HTML/JS) is subject to the server logging described above, just like any other page view; Vault contents subsequently stored or processed locally are not affected. For loss, compromise or unavailability of locally stored data, please refer to our Disclaimer, particularly Section 6b.
Downloading JUMBO BLOCK Rescue from jumboblock.org
We provide the JUMBO BLOCK Rescue image upon request using a personal download code. The code is valid for three days from creation and permits a maximum of three downloads.
When you enter the code on jumboblock.org or initiate the download, we process the following data: the time, an internal code identifier, the result of verification (for example, download started or code expired), and your IP address in truncated form (the last block is removed for IPv4 addresses; for IPv6 addresses, everything after the first 48 bits is removed). To prevent automated repeated attempts, we also store for no longer than one hour a non-reversible verification value derived from your full IP address.
For each code, we store a short internal note (such as a company name or case number) to associate the request with the code. The codes themselves are stored only in hashed form.
The purposes of processing are to provide the download at your request and prevent misuse. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (provision at your request) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in preventing misuse).
Log entries are automatically deleted after 30 days; codes and associated notes are deleted 30 days after expiry. No cookies are set and no analytics or tracking services are used on the download page. Data is stored on servers operated by our hosting provider STRATO AG in Germany.
Cookies and Audience Measurement
This website uses cookies. Cookies are small files stored on your device. A distinction is made between technically necessary cookies and cookies for audience measurement (analytics):
Technically necessary cookies are used on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functional, secure website). Analytics and audience-measurement cookies (see “Google Analytics” below) are set only after your express consent via the cookie banner. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TDDDG. These cookies are not used without your consent.
You may grant or refuse consent at any time through the cookie banner and withdraw your choice by deleting cookies or reopening the banner. Common browsers also allow cookies to be blocked altogether; this may limit the functionality of certain parts of the website.
Collection and Processing of Personal Data
The website operator collects, uses and discloses your personal data only where permitted by law or where you have given consent. Personal data means any information that identifies you or can be traced back to you, such as your name, email address or telephone number.
You may visit this website without providing personal details. We collect personal data such as first name, surname, IP address, email address, town, postal code and message contents insofar as you use a contact form or another contact method (email, fax or telephone). Processing is based on your consent or on taking steps prior to or performing a contract (Article 6(1)(a) or (b) GDPR).
Handling Contact Details
If you contact us using the available contact methods, your details will be stored so that we can process and respond to your enquiry. These data will not be passed to third parties without your consent.
Handling Comments and Contributions
If you post a contribution or comment on this website, your IP address will be stored (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), as we have a legitimate interest in being able to identify the author in the event of unlawful content.
Your Rights
You have the right to obtain information free of charge about personal data stored concerning you, and to request rectification, restriction of processing or erasure. Where applicable, you may exercise your right to data portability. If you suspect unlawful processing, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Erasure of Data
Unless statutory retention obligations apply, you are entitled to have your data erased. Data stored by us will be deleted once no longer needed for its purpose and no statutory retention period applies. Otherwise, processing will be restricted and the data blocked.
Right to Object
You may object to the processing of your personal data at any time. For rectification, blocking, erasure, access or withdrawal of consent, please contact: webmaster@zanni.de. Services Used in Detail
Google Analytics
This website uses “Google Analytics” provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; parent company Google LLC, USA) only after your consent via the cookie banner (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TDDDG).
The service uses cookies to collect information about your use of this website. IP anonymisation is enabled on this website; your IP address is truncated within the EU/EEA before any transfer to the USA.
Regarding international data transfers: Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), based on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (Article 45 GDPR). In view of an appeal currently pending before the Court of Justice of the European Union against that decision, data protection experts currently recommend additionally concluding Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) with the relevant provider or regularly checking the provider's certification (current list: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/list).
You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner. The browser add-on for opting out of Google Analytics is also available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. Further information: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de
Google Fonts
Any Google Fonts used are delivered via an intermediary server so that no data from your browser is transmitted to Google.
Google Maps
This website uses the Google Maps mapping service (Google Ireland Limited). Its use requires transmission of your IP address, which is generally sent to and stored on a Google server in the USA. Integration is based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in an attractive presentation and in making our locations easy to find. Further information: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/. YouTube Plugins
This website uses YouTube plugins (YouTube, LLC, represented by Google Ireland Limited). When you access a page equipped with such a plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. If you are logged into YouTube, YouTube may associate the visit with your user account; you can prevent this by logging out beforehand. Further information: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de. Applicable Law
The European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).
Cooperation in the Event of a Complaint
In the event of objections relating to competition law, domain law, copyright or similar matters, please contact us to avoid unnecessary legal disputes and costs. We will promptly amend or remove content where complaints are justified. We reject legal fee demands for lawyer-issued warning letters sent without prior contact as unfounded.
